General Hydroponics pH UP - gal.

General Hydroponics pH UP is formulated using potassium hydroxide and potassium carbonate.

The formula is buffered which makes maintaining proper pH levels easier.

Although, some conditions may exist which can cause unacceptable variances in pH levels, such as poor quality water used in nutrient solutions or using pH unstable media like rockwool.

High growth rates can also destabilize pH.

Growers consider pH levels of 5.5 to 6.5 to be ideal for most crops to get maximum plant growth.

Use sparingly: add to nutrient solution a little at a time and then test, and repeat application if necessary, until the desired pH level is achieved.

The quantity necessary for pH adjustment will vary depending on the strength of the nutrient solution and the purity of the water used in the mix.

Contains Potassium Carbonate.

Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing.

Causes burns.

Harmful if swallowed.
